Female arrested on warrants

At 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning police conducted a routine traffic stop in the Thames Street area in Chatham.

A 26-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants. She was released pending a future court date.

Female arrested for domestic assault

Around 1 p.m. on Monday police responded to a call about an assault in Chatham.

As a result, an 18-year-old female was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She is being held for a bail hearing.

---------- Man arrested for shoplifting

On Sunday night police arrived at Walmart in Chatham after getting a call about a shoplifter.

A 32-year-old was arrested for stealing $80 worth of merchandise and charged with theft.

He has been released and will have a future court date.

Man arrested on warrants

Shortly after 10 p.m. on Sunday night, a 59-year-old man was arrested in the Gray Street area in Chatham for failing to comply with his bail conditions.

He was held pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
