Police officers were called to St. Clair Street near Crerar Dr. in Chatham around 6:18 p.m.
The man was taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance where he later died.
The Chatham-Kent Police Traffic Management Unit is investigating and asks anyone with information to call Constable Dan Carroll at 519-355-1092 or email him at dancar@chatham-kent.ca.
