Maroons tie Lincolns 4-4

The Chatham Maroons tied The St. Marys Lincolns 4-4 on Junior B hockey action on Friday.

The Lincolns were first to score early in the game, but Eddie Schulz tied the game by scoring for Chatham 4:20 into the first period. Griffin Robinson gave Chatham a 3-1 lead by scoring twice before the end of the frame.

St. Marys scored the only two goals of the second period to tie the game and added another 10:37 into the third. Dakota Bohn scored for the Maroons with just over six minutes left in the frame to tie things up and force overtime.

After two scoreless overtime periods, the game was declared a tie.

The Maroons were able to outshoot the Lincolns 41-37.

The Maroons are back on the ice on Sunday when they take on the Komoka Kings. The puck drops at 7 p.m. in Chatham.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
