Bothwell man rushed to hospital in critical condition after crash

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a serious crash that sent a Bothwell man to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the single-vehicle crash took place in the area of Main Line and Zone Road 6 in Dawn-Euphemia Township shortly before 1 p.m. Monday.

Officers said the preliminary investigation shows the driver -- who was the only person inside the vehicle at the time -- lost control before the vehicle left the roadway.

A 45-year-old Bothwell man was airlifted to Victoria Hospital in London directly from the scene.

The Traffic Management Section has taken over the investigation and officers are asking anyone with information to contact Constable Dan Carroll at dancar@chatham-kent.ca or 519-355-1092.
