Slushy, icy roads prompt CK school bus cancellations

School bus service across Chatham-Kent is cancelled for the second time this week because of poor road conditions.

While the buses and extra-curricular activities are cancelled, the schools will still be open on Wednesday.

Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain advisory and the roads are very slippery, so drivers are advised to go slow.

Salt trucks are out, but many of the main and side streets are still slick and covered with ice and slush.
