Crash causes traffic back-ups on St. Clair in Chatham

The Chatham-Kent fire department is reporting a crash involving two vehicles on St. Clair Street in Chatham.

According to firefighters, the incident happened near Gregory Drive where two vehicles went into the ditch. Three fire trucks are on scene along with paramedics and police.

The fire department added that St. Clair is down to one lane southbound north of Gregory Drive.

Officers at the scene would not comment on how many people were involved in the crash. However, paramedics said several patients were assessed and treated at the scene for minor injuries. No one was taken to the hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
