Man arrested in CK bank robbery

An arrest has been made in connection with a bank robbery in Dresden last week.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a male suspect is in custody after being arrested on Thursday, however, police officials are not providing any further details, including his name or age. Police said there will be more information released Friday morning.

The bank robbery occurred during the afternoon on February 26, when police reported that a man entered the CIBC bank and demanded money from the teller.

While no weapon was seen or used, officers said the man made off with an unknown quantity of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.
