The suspect accused of robbing a bank in Dresden in February is a 29-year-old Chatham man.
That is the latest information from Chatham-Kent police a week after they made an arrest in connection with the case.
Police said they were able to identify a suspect after they were provided with some surveillance from the incident on February 26.
Officers said the man they arrested is accused of walking into the bank and handing a note to the teller that demanded money and indicated that he intended to commit robbery. Police said he also took steps to obscure his identity.
Investigators said approximately $2,700 was handed over to the accused before he took off. Police arrested a suspect in connection with the case on March 7.
A 29-year-old Chatham man is now charged with three counts of theft, three counts of possession of stolen property, and one count each of robbery, failing to attend court, and failing to comply with his release conditions.
He was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
