Stolen vehicles leads to charges for Windsor man

A Windsor man has been charged after two stolen vehicles were recovered on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.

The Ontario Provincial Police say the vehicles were found on Wednesday, March 13 within six hours of each other. One vehicle was found on the eastbound off-ramp at Victoria Road while the other was found in a ditch near Charing Cross Road.

An investigation led officers to a man at a nearby truck stop. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant, then later charged after police learned he had allegedly been in possession of both stolen vehicles.

David Raymond Dabor, 39 of Windsor, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, two counts of possession of stolen property, and breach of recognizance.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
