If you're heading to Detroit to catch a flight Monday, you may want to take note.
The U.S. government says several airlines are experiencing delays after being affected by computer glitches. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said Monday morning that system problems, which have since been resolved, continue to affect operations on Delta, United, Southwest, and other airlines, resulting in many flights being delayed.
Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus is among the major airports experiencing delays. Other airports with residual problems include Chicago's O'Hare and Midway Airports, Logan Airport in Boston, Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports in New York City, Liberty Airport in Newark, and Philadelphia International.
The FAA is asking passengers to contact their individual airlines directly to get information on flight delays or cancellations.
