UPDATE: Power restored in Wallaceburg

Entegrus is reporting that power has been restored to around 1,300 customers after an outage hit the Wallaceburg area.

The outages were reported around 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning. According to Entegrus' Twitter page, a defective high voltage metering point is the cause of the outage. Crews were able to restore power to all customers shortly before 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
