Kiwanis Club donates $15K to Butterfly Building campaign

The Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent is helping out a cause to build a new state-of-the-art Children's Treatment Centre.

A $15,000 donation was made on June 20, to the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation's Butterfly Building campaign.

The donation is part of a $25,000 commitment. The Kiwanis Club had raised money by hosting a crepe dinner, collecting personal donations, and from Riverview Gaming Centre bingo.

The new treatment centre is expected to feature a new gym, an updated pool, and rooms dedicated to therapy. By building a larger facility, the Children’s Treatment Centre will also be able to help serve more children within the municipality.
