UPDATE: Boys found safe after Amber Alert issued

Two young boys who were the subject of an Amber Alert early Thursday morning have been found safe and in good health.

York Regional Police tweeted out just before 5 a.m. that police in Toronto located the boys, aged two and four, and their 70-year-old grandfather while they were driving on Lakeshore Boulevard.

An Amber Alert was issued for the two boys at around 3 a.m. after there was some concern for their safety.

York Regional Police are also thanking the public for its assistance.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
