Federal minister talks agriculture with CKNX

The country's Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Marie-Claude Bibeau, stopped at CKNX Wednesday to discuss all things agriculture.

The food industry has been in the spotlight across the country with trade, labour and mental health being some of the key points being highlighted by farm organizations, provincial politicians and others across the industry.

Bibeau started Wednesday in Bruce County in Teeswater at Gay Lea, then travelled to a beef farm in Glammis before coming stopping at CKNX.

Reporter Adam Bell sat down with the minister before she headed to an event in Brussels late Wednesday afternoon.
