Crime of the Week – July 26, 2019

Sometime during the early morning hours of July 18th, 2019 unknown suspects forced their way through a rear door of the Church on Victoria Avenue, Chatham.

Once inside the suspects entered one of the offices and removed a hard drive, a docking station, and a wireless router along with 2 laptops. The value of the theft is approximately $4000 plus damages to the door.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
