Collision in Dresden

A man is facing charges after a head-on collision in Dresden that sent three people to the hospital.

It happened around 2 p.m. Sunday on Baseline road. Police say three people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 26-year-old driver from North York was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign.

Two people arrested on warrants 

Police were able to catch two people wanted on outstanding warrants.

First, around 1 p.m. in Chatham, police observed a 31-year-old man on Queen Street who was wanted on a theft and possession warrant.

He was arrested and held for bail.

Then, around 8 p.m. in Wallaceburg, officers arrested a 38-year-old man who had outstanding warrants for breaking and entering. He was also held for bail.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
