Suspended driver allegedly caught behind the wheel

A 34-year-old man accused of driving while under suspension has lost his vehicle for a week.

Chatham-Kent police said the man was allegedly caught driving on Communication Road in Blenheim. He has since been charged with driving while under suspension and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.

Men arrested for breaking curfew

A couple of men are facing charges after they were allegedly caught breaking their probation conditions.

Police said a 23-year-old man had been stopped on William Street in Chatham, around 2 a.m. Tuesday. He was arrested for breaching his curfew.

In the meantime, a 29-year-old man was arrested at Tecumseh Park around 5 a.m. Tuesday morning for allegedly breaching his curfew.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
