UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm watches end

Environment Canada has ended all severe thunderstorm watches and warnings for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent and London-Middlesex.

The weather agency issued severe thunderstorm watches for the region Tuesday morning with conditions favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms. The watch was upgraded to a warning for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex Tuesday evening.

All warnings and watches were rescinded by just after 10 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the conditions described above, said Environment Canada.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
