Trio of arrests on outstanding warrants

The law has caught up with three people under the age of 30 who were wanted by Chatham-Kent police.

Officers said a 25-year-old woman wanted on two outstanding warrants for break and enter and two counts of failing to attend court was arrested on Wednesday. She was taken to the courthouse pending a bail hearing.

A 28-year-old man who was wanted on two counts of failing to comply turned himself in at police headquarters. He was taken to the courthouse pending a bail hearing.

And an 18-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for domestic mischief, uttering threats, and criminal harassment. He was taken to police headquarters and held there pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested after mischief complaint

A 37-year-old man is charged with mischief after police got a call about some damage that was done at a private residence recently.

Officers said the accused was recognized by the victim, adding that officers arrested him in Chatham and took him into custody pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
