Carleton signs with Lynx

Chatham's Bridget Carleton will be staying in Minnesota.

The Lynx announced Thursday that they had signed the free-agent to a deal to play for the team for the remainder of the WNBA season.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Carleton had signed a seven-day contract with Minnesota last week. She scored her first WNBA points on Sunday, August 25 in the Lynx's 98-77 win over the Las Vegas Aces.

The 6'1" forward was waived by the Connecticut Sun on July 3, 2019. She played in four games for the Sun after the team drafted her 21st overall in the second round of the WNBA draft in April.

Carleton also played four seasons for the Iowa State Cyclones before graduating in the spring of 2019.
