Police searching for suspect after robbery

Chatham-Kent police have released a pair of photos of a man accused of robbing a convenience store in Wallaceburg.

Police said the man walked into the Circle K store on McNaughton Avenue at around 5:20 a.m. Monday with a "weapon" and demanded cash and cigarettes.

He took off with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise and was last seen running towards Reaume Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
