Chatham teen suffers life-threatening injuries in ATV crash

Chatham-Kent police are investigating an ATV crash just south of Mitchell's Bay that sent a 16-year-old Chatham girl to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers said there were two 16-year-old girls involved in the single-vehicle crash, which took place just before 5 p.m. Monday on Marsh Line west of Winter Line Road in Dover Township.

The driver, a 16-year-old Dover Township girl, was not physically hurt, but her passenger was airlifted to a hospital in London for emergency medical treatment.

No other details are available at this point.
