An event Wednesday in Owen Sound will focus on food distribution.
The third annual Fall Food Gathering features presentations and speakers on how to make sure our food system works better for all.
Grey Bruce Health Unit nutritionist Laura Needham said all sectors involved in the food system will participate, including grocers, farmers, retailers and community groups.
"By bringing all different types of stakeholders together we can really take a more holistic look at our food system and come up with more creative solutions so people get the food that they need - all people," said Needham.
The Fall Food Gathering is hosted by the Food Security Action Group of the Bruce Grey Poverty Task Force and the Grey Bruce Sustainability Network.
The day-long event Wednesday is at the Harmony Centre in Owen Sound.
