Threats lead to arrest
A 36-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with uttering threats.
On Saturday around 9:00 p.m., police were called to an apartment building on McNaughton Ave. West in Chatham after receiving information that a man threatened to kill a tenant inside.
Police learned that the suspect had been the subject of three previous unwanted person complaints earlier in the day.
He was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Stolen vehicle in Chatham
There are no suspects after a vehicle was stolen on Redbud Dr. in Chatham.
Overnight on Friday, a 2005 Buick Century with Ontario Licence plate CJXX 907 was stolen from a driveway.
Police are still investigating.

Male arrested for breaching conditional sentence order
A 27-year-old Toronto man was arrested for breaching his curfew on a conditional sentence order.
On Sunday around 1 a.m., police responded to a traffic complaint at the McDonald’s on St. Clair Street. The driver was believed to be impaired.
Police found that the man was not impaired, but he was arrested for breaching his curfew on a conditional sentence order.
The man was arrested and held for bail.
