Man arrested on multiple warrants

A 27-year-old man was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.

It happened on Friday after police found a man at an address in Chatham. He was arrested on outstanding warrants including breach of probation, fail to attend court, theft and possession of stolen property warrants.

The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Woman arrested on warrant

A 37-year-old woman was arrested on multiple warrants.

It happened on Friday after police responded to a domestic disturbance at an address in Chatham.

Upon identifying those involved, it was discovered that the woman had outstanding warrants.

The woman was arrested on a  warrant for theft and possession of stolen property.

She was then released to the custody of Sarnia Police as she also had an outstanding warrant in their jurisdiction.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
