Fog advisory ends

Morning commuters were expected to be in for another foggy morning on Wednesday, but it cleared up earlier than first expected.

Environment Canada issued its second fog advisory in two days for Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex, Sarnia-Lambton, London and Middlesex County Tuesday night, but the advisory ended early Wednesday morning.

The weather agency said dense fog was expected to develop over the southwestern Ontario region Tuesday evening and continue into Wednesday morning.

There was also a risk of freezing drizzle overnight, which could cause untreated surfaces to become slippery.
