Old golf course getting new look

The new owners of the former Country View Golf Course are renovating.

The new Hidden Hills Golf and Country Club facebook page stated the clubhouse is currently closed for renovations but the pro shop remains open.

Hidden Hills is also asking any restaurants interested in used equipment to make them an offer.

"Hidden Hills would like to thank the community of golfers who have come in to support our new journey! A November 10, 2019 post said. "People coming in to ask questions and offer support has been very overwhelming! Feeling grateful for all the positive support."

The former owners are wishing the new owners, Darrell Chapple and Brandi Weaver, well.

"Wishing the new owners “Hidden Hills” good luck and success! Sincerely Randy, Kirk and their families!" stated a November 6, 2019 post on the old Country View facebook page.

Chapple’s brother, Wayne, told Blackburn News in September that the land will remain a golf course for now and more details would be made public after his brother Darrell took over the golf course November 1.

Hidden Hills Golf and Country Club is a 27 hole golf course on Highway 40 between Chatham and Wallaceburg. It also offers a dining room and space for special events.
