Maroons look to bounce back in Strathroy

The Chatham Maroons have only faced the Strathroy Rockets once so far this season, but over the next month, the two clubs are about to get very familiar with each other.

The Maroons and the Rockets are set to face off three more times in 2019 -- starting with Saturday night's trip to the West Middlesex Memorial Arena.

It's the first time the Maroons will meet the Rockets on the road in the 2019-2020 season. Strathroy won the only other game they played against each other, a 4-3 double-OT win at Memorial Arena in Chatham on September 22.

Both teams are coming off of losses -- the Maroons fell to the Vipers 9-2 on Sunday while the Rockets lost 6-2 to the Nationals in London on Wednesday.

Only one point separates the two clubs in the standings right now -- Chatham is in sixth place with 21 points, while Strathroy is in seventh with 20.

You can hear tonight’s game on-air on CFCO Country 92.9FM/ 630 AM or online by clicking here.

Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
