Police make thirteen arrests during trio of drug busts

Thirteen people have been arrested, charged, and released after Chatham-Kent police executed three drug-related search warrants in Chatham.

Police said the warrants were executed Wednesday night on St. George Street, Park Street, and Gray Street.

As a result of the searches, officers seized an undisclosed amount of fentanyl, ecstasy, methamphetamine, hydromorphone, crack cocaine, cash, and drug paraphernalia.

All 13 of the people who were arrested in connection with the investigation were charged with various drug-related offences and are set to appear in court in the new year.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
