Street sales come up big for Chatham Goodfellows

The 65th annual street sales campaign on Friday and Saturday was a successful one for the No Child Without a Christmas campaign.

Volunteers collected over $31,400, approximately $900 more than what was raised last year in 2018.

Toys will be delivered on Tuesday, December 17 starting at 5:30 p.m. Anyone who wants to help is asked to come to 70 Leeson Dr. in Chatham.

Food packing and delivery will take place on Wednesday, December 18 at the Spirit and Life Centre. Packing starts at 8 a.m. and delivery will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
