Tools stolen from construction site

Police are investigating a break-in at a construction site on Beechwood Line in Howard Township.

Someone reportedly broke into a trailer on Monday morning and stole several tools.

Officers said there are currently no suspects.

Alleged shoplifter turned over to Sarnia police

A 38-year-old woman wanted by police in Sarnia has been arrested in Chatham in connection with a theft.

Chatham-Kent police said the 38-year-old allegedly shoplifted from a business on St. Clair Street on Monday. She was arrested and taken to Wallaceburg where she was handed over to Sarnia Police Services.

Shouting man arrested in Chatham

A man who was reportedly yelling in the area of Riverview Drive in Chatham early Tuesday morning has been arrested.

Police said the 29-year-old was believed to be "displaying a drug-induced behaviour".

He was arrested for breach of the peace and held in police custody until sober.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
