Maroons players headed to showcase games

Three Chatham Maroons players have been selected to play in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) Top Prospects and Future Stars games.

Both games are taking place in Waterloo on Saturday, December 28.

Defenceman Carson Noble and Forward Blake Boudreau will play for Team McClement in the Future Stars game at noon. That game features the top 16-year-old players in the league.

Defenceman Adrian Stubberfield will suit up for Team Bush in the Top Prospects game at 3 p.m. That game features the top 17 and 18-year-old players.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
