UPDATE: Westbound 401 re-opens near Rodney

Provincial police say the westbound lanes of Highway 401 have re-opened at Furnival Road after they were closed because of a multi-vehicle collision.

OPP reported the crash just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday. According to police, a commercial truck collided with another after jackknifing in the westbound lanes of the highway. No injuries were reported. Police say there has been a diesel fuel spill, so the westbound lanes were closed while the spill was being cleaned up. The westbound lanes reopened around 11:45 a.m.
