Two Spitfires headed to the CHL Prospects Game

Two Windsor Spitfires forwards will join other top Canadian Hockey League (CHL) players in two weeks' time.

The CHL, in cooperation with NHL Central Scouting, released its rosters for the Kubota CHL-NHL Top Prospects Game, to be played on January 16 in Hamilton. On the list are forwards Jean-Luc Foudy and Will Cuylle for Windsor. Foudy will play for Team Red, Cuylle for Team White.

Foudy and Cuylle will join Spitfires head coach Trevor Letowski and equipment manager J.R. Grant. Letowski is an assistant coach for Team White while Grant will serve as head equipment manager.

Forty players have been selected for the contest, designed to give NHL scouts a chance to look at draft-eligible prospects closely. These players are likely to be selected in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, set for June 26 and 27 in Montreal.

Players from the CHL's three main leagues, the Ontario Hockey League, Western Hockey League and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, make up the two rosters.
