Lanes cleared following Hwy. 401 rollover

Minor injuries have been reported after a tractor-trailer rolled onto its side on Wednesday morning while going westbound on Highway 401 between Chatham and Tilbury.

The Ministry of Transportation reported a westbound lane closure on the highway between Bloomfield Road and Dillon Road around 6:30 a.m. Provincial police later posted about the lane restriction on Twitter, stating the closure was for clean-up and investigation purposes.

All lanes were reopened to traffic shortly after 9 a.m., according to the MTO.

There's no word on if charges have or will be laid. An update will be made once more information becomes available.
