Men crash one car, steal another

Two men from Toronto are facing charges after crashing a car, allegedly stealing another car and then crashing that one too.

Police say around 4:45 p.m. Saturday the men were driving eastbound on Tecumseh Line when they rolled their vehicle.

The men then exited the vehicle, broke into a residence and allegedly stole another vehicle.

Within several hundred metres, they rolled that vehicle over too.

The 36-year-old and 33-year-old were taken to the hospital for medical care and then arrested for break and enter, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

While in police custody, the 33-year-old was found in possession of a prohibited weapon and charged accordingly.

Both of the men were held in police custody for a bail hearing.

Break and enter in Thamesville

Police are looking for tips after a break and enter in Thamesville.

It happened around 4 a.m. Sunday morning on London Road. Unknown suspects forced their way into a business and stole two watches.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
