Two people are facing charges after Chatham-Kent police executed a pair of drug warrants on Tuesday.
Police said in the first case, a 43-year-old man from Harvey Street was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with possession of methamphetamine in connection with the first case.
He was later released with a future court date.
The second warrant, carried out at a residence on Elizabeth Street in Chatham Tuesday afternoon, resulted in a bigger haul.
Police said they seized approximately $10,000 worth of crack cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and oxycodone during the search. Officers also allegedly took a set of brass knuckles and a brass knuckles/knife combo from the scene.
A 32-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a banned weapon, four counts of breaching his probation, and two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions.
The accused in the second case was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
