Man arrested for drug offences 

A call about an unwanted person has led to one man being arrested.

Cops got the call around 11 a.m. Saturday and were dispatched to a restaurant on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.

Police discovered that the 31-year-old was under the influence of illicit drugs and was allegedly in possession of Fentanyl.

He was arrested, taken to the police station and eventually released with a future court date.

Break and enter in Chatham

Police are looking for tips after a break and enter in Chatham.

It happened at a business on Richmond Street when an unknown person entered a storage locker and stole various household items. Police responded to a call about the incident around 4 p.m. Saturday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
