Crime of the Week – February 19, 2020

On Saturday February 8th, 2020 at approximately 2:00 am the victim was walking on King Street West in the Chatham downtown when she was approached by an unknown female accompanied by two males. After a brief conversation, the female suspect assaulted the victim knocking her to the ground and hitting her several times with a closed fist. The victim suffered a concussion and required stitches to treat a wound to her mouth.

The suspect is described as a white female in her 20’s with blonde hair.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
