OPP seek five in Leamington arson

Provincial police are on the lookout for five suspects after someone threw a molotov cocktail inside a unit at a Leamington apartment complex.

The Ontario Provincial Police said at about 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a resident of the apartment on Lutsch Avenue was awakened by the sound of breaking glass. He discovered a broken window and the molotov cocktail.

The molotov cocktail did not ignite.

The suspects were all wearing dark-coloured clothing and were spotted leaving a light-coloured older-model minivan near Mill Street East and Bowman Avenue.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
