Police investigate fatal collision

Chatham-Kent police are asking witnesses to come forward after a fatal single-vehicle collision in Tilbury.

It happened just before 6 a.m. Saturday in the area of Pollard Line and Bonneau Line.

The driver, a 19-year-old Tilbury man, was transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police are not releasing any other details at this time as they continue their investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Cst. Josh Flikweert at joshuaf@chatham-kent.ca or 519-355-1092.
