Kincardine declares state of emergency

The Municipality of Kincardine has declared a state of emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mayor Anne Eadie met with the Emergency Control Group for the municipality on Monday, and they recommended declaring an emergency.

The group noted many residents were not aware of how serious the situation could become and wanted to reinforce the actions that need to be taken to flatten the curve.

Eadie reminded residents to “reach out to neighbours and relatives by phone, by email or video messaging to connect with each other and offer support”.

Keep up to date on information as it becomes available on the municipality’s website.
