Brussels Optimist Club donates $20,000 to local hospitals

The Brussels Optimist Club has donated $20,000 to four local hospitals.

The hospitals in Wingham, Listowel, Clinton and Seaforth will each receive $5,000. Originally, the four hospitals were to be beneficiaries of the annual Brussels Optimist Club dinner and auction scheduled for March 14th, but the event was cancelled in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the club decided they would still make the donation without the event going forward.

The contribution by the Brussels Optimist Club will be directed towards vital medical equipment and facility upgrades at each of the four hospitals.
