St. Clair Region Conservation Authority further delays camping season

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) has delayed the start of the 2020 camping season, again.

The conservation authority said based on recommendations from local, provincial and federal health authorities, it has decided to further delay the opening of the A.W. Campbell, Lorne C. Henderson and Warwick conservation areas for recreational seasonal and overnight camping until May 31.

Full refunds will be issued automatically.

Trail systems at the affected conservation sites are open to the public, but visitors are expected to comply with social distancing practices.

The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) conservation areas and trails also remain closed to the public until further notice.
