Updated midwestern Ontario COVID-19 test results

Wellington County has had one new case of COVID-19 confirmed in the past day, for a total of 52. One patient is in hospital and one in the ICU. 31 cases are resolved.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reports a total of 317 cases in their jurisdiction. There have been 27 fatalities in the region, with 2 of them in Wellington.

Huron Perth Public Health reports the number of cases holding steady at a total of 49. 34 are recovered, but five people passed away.

And there were no new cases reported in Grey Bruce with the most recent update from the public health unit showing 88 confirmed cases in total, including 61 resolved cases. Grey Bruce Public Health Unit says there have been no novel coronavirus deaths in the region.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
