Aamjiwnaang, Muslim association donate to Bluewater Health fund

Local community groups continue to donate money to Bluewater Health to help fight COVID-19.

Aamjiwnaang First Nation presented a $5,000 cheque Wednesday to the hospital foundation's COVID-19 Fund, as a thank you to all front-line workers for their hard work and selflessness during the pandemic.

The Sarnia Muslim Association also contributed $3,000 to the emergency fund, established to support healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

To date, over $250,000 has been raised.

Those wishing to donate can do so through the foundation's website.
