North Huron Family Health Team lays out guidelines for visiting local doctors

The North Huron Family Health Team has laid out some ground rules for visiting local doctors.

If you have a scheduled in-person visit at either Wingham, Teeswater or Lucknow, here is how best to prepare. Call in your appointment, as due to COVID-19 walk-ins are still not being allowed. When you arrive and leave the appointment, use the hand sanitizer stations. Wear your own face mask to all appointments. Do not bring anyone else to the appointment unless absolutely necessary. If you develop any new or worse symptoms related to COVID-19 after the appointment is made, call ahead to let the office know so they can prepare. Also, if you need to drop something off or pick something up from a clinic, call reception and let them know.

Depending on the location you are at, follow these guidelines for arrival:

Location: Wingham

Directions: Wait in your car until 5 minutes from your appointment time, then proceed to the screening table inside door number 1.

Location: Lucknow

Directions: Wait in your vehicle in the parking lot until directed by clinic staff to enter. If possible, call the clinic from your cell phone when you arrive.

Location: Teeswater

Directions: Wait in your vehicle in the parking lot until directed by clinic staff to enter. If possible, call the clinic from your cell phone when you arrive.
