One new positive COVID-19 test in Midwestern Ontario

Grey Bruce Public Health reports a positive COVID-19 test result was received in the past 24 hours in the region, to bring the cumulative total to 92 cases.

However, there are 85 recovered cases. There were 24 cases reported in Health Care Workers working in Grey Bruce.

There have been no fatalities. No one is in hospital, and no COVID-19 outbreaks are reported in Long-Term Care and Retirement Homes.

No new cases were reported in Huron, Perth or Wellington Counties in the last update from local health officials.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
