Environment Canada has ended the severe thunderstorm warning for Chatham-Kent - Rondeau Park.
The warning was issued around 3:30 a.m Wednesday morning but was quickly downgraded to a watch, which has also now ended.
Meteorologists were currently tracking a severe thunderstorm that is capable of producing very strong wind gusts and heavy rain.
Residents are urged to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings and break branches off trees.
