North Perth establishes COVID-19 Recovery Action Group

North Perth has established a new group to help the municipality recover when the COVID-19 pandemic ends.

In a release on June 3, North Perth says the new COVID-19 Recovery Action Group (CRAG) is made up of the Umbrella Committee and three Sub-Groups addressing specific focus areas. Those are agriculture, economy and community services.

The members of the Umbrella Committee are North Perth Mayor Todd Kasenberg, Deputy Mayor Doug Kellum, CAO Kris Snell,  Chair of the Economy Committee Natalie Promislow, Chair of the Community Services Committee Jeremy Reid, Chair of the Agriculture Committee Marlin Stoltz and members at large Mike McCourt and Bernice Weber.

CRAG and the sub-groups will be working towards the prosperous future of North Perth following the pandemic and will be generating recommendations and next steps for council.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
